Under the Paw
My fiancée is an amazing woman – smart, funny, talented (and probably reading this). She is also somewhat cat-mad. This isn’t really a flaw, as such, since she manages her condition very ably, but it does sometimes lead to arguments about kittens (2. I said 2, and that’s final… I’m never going to win this one, but I’ll keep battling!)
This Christmas, she “encouraged” me to read a book by a cat-mad man. Under the Paw by Tom Cox is – despite my initial misgivings – a great read. He tells the tale of his life with a growing collection of cats (currently 6, or is that 7 now?) in an engaging and comical style.
The book is now available at Amazon in hard-back (also available for pre-orders as a paperback), and is well worth the purchase for anyone with the slightest interest in cats – or even with little interest in cats, but a potential future with them…
